Dad Blog Instructions
Explanation for how to write and publish a new blog post.

Hover over this text, you'll see a blue outline appear. This is the text box where you'll write your blog text.
*When starting a new blog, the default text is: 'My post content'
How to write your blog
*You can either write in this box, or select text and paste here.
The basic Need to Know:
Select this text box.
In the bar that appears directly above this box, select EDIT TEXT (or double click the box)
You can now place your cursor wherever you want and start writing.
When you're finished, just click anywhere outside this box to exit edit mode.
Make sure the title and default photo box are as you want them. Photo can be deleted, kept as-is, or changed (I'll teach you about photos later, not sure how important they are for your general blog posts?)
Styling
In the bar, from left to right you'll see options for:
- Font colour
- heading/paragraph style
- font (**the font used throughout the Kagey site is LATO and is the default)
- font size
- Bold/Italic/underscore/strikethrough (*regular apple commands work too)
- bullets/numbering
-add a link
-alignment (ie indent left, right, centred, etc)
- clear formatting (ie to clear any selections you've made and go back to base formatting)
- 3 dots options:
-Line height
-background colour option
-animation
Saving
The site auto-saves every few minutes, but make sure the 'save' option in the master menu bar at the top is shaded to know it's just saved. If not, select it to make sure it saves before leaving this page or logging out.
